- Manifest Mondays: The Law of Attraction-Manifesting Your Dreams into Reality
Hey there beautiful nieces. It's Manifest Monday , my series about manifesting the life of your dreams. Today we are getting back to basics, and talking about the Law of Attraction. Have you ever heard the saying "you attract what you put out"? That's the core principle behind the Law of Attraction (LOA), a philosophy that suggests our thoughts and feelings hold immense power in shaping our reality. What is the Law of Attraction? LOA centers around the idea that we are energetic beings, and our thoughts and emotions vibrate at specific frequencies. Like attracts like, so positive thoughts are believed to attract positive experiences, while negative thoughts attract negativity. Core Tenets of the Law of Attraction Like Attracts Like: Positive thoughts attract positive experiences, and negative thoughts attract negativity. The Power of Belief: Your deepest beliefs shape your reality. Focus and Feelings: What you focus on and how you feel about it carries immense weight. Visualization: The act of vividly imagining your desires strengthens their manifestation. Gratitude : Appreciating what you already have opens the door to receiving more. Is There Science Behind the Law of Attraction? While LOA isn't backed by traditional science, it aligns with the concept of neuroplasticity - the brain's ability to change and adapt based on our thoughts and experiences. A positive mindset can lead to more focused actions and increased motivation, potentially leading to better outcomes. How to Use the Law of Attraction Practice Gratitude: Focus on what you're thankful for to cultivate a positive mindset. Positive Affirmations: Repeat positive statements about yourself and your desires. Visualization: Spend time vividly imagining your goals coming to fruition. Take Inspired Action: Don't just wait for things to happen - take steps towards your goals. Let Go and Trust: This is usually the hardest part for most people. We tend to want immediate results and when we don't get those results on our timeline, it's easy to get discouraged. Release attachment to the outcome and trust the process . Remember: LOA isn't a magic bullet. It's about aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions to create a more positive and fulfilling life. It requires consistent effort and a willingness to believe in the power of your mind. Tell me nieces, have you used the Law of Attraction before? How did it work out, let me know down below in the comments or on our forum . xoxo, Aunty Bri
- Childhood Wounds and the Men We Choose
Greetings lovely nieces! A question I get asked a lot from my internet nieces is, "Why do I end up attracting the same type of man?" Followed by, "Why do the men I chose always end up hurting me?" These common questions have a surprising answer. Your childhood. Do you find that you are attracted to the same type of guy time and time again? Do you date men with certain personalities, even though they often end up hurting you? Do the same issues or problems keep showing up in your relationships with different men? Our childhood relationships with our parents and caregivers can shape our beliefs about love, intimacy, and our own worth. Our parents (or caregivers) are basically the blueprint for what we believe about love and our self-value. The complexities of our childhood teach us what we believe about relationships. For example, if you grew up feeling responsible for everyone's happiness, you might unconsciously seek out partners who need a lot of care and attention. Or, if you were always the peacemaker in your family, you might find yourself drawn to guys who are emotionally troubled or unstable. If you grew up feeling responsible for the emotional well-being of others, you might be drawn to men who need constant care and attention Here are some common ways childhood wounds can influence our relationship choices: The Caregiver Complex: If you're used to taking care of others, you might subconsciously seek out partners who rely heavily on you and expect you to take care of them. This can lead to putting the needs of your boyfriend first and constantly sacrificing your own needs. The "Rescuer" Role: If you're used to being the peacemaker or problem solver in your family, you might unconsciously seek out partners who have a lot of problems and expect you to fix them. This can give you a sense of purpose and control, but it can also lead to exhausting and unsatisfying relationships. The "Pleaser" Role: If you were constantly praised for being good or obedient, you might become a people-pleaser in your relationships. This can result in you settling for less than you deserve and feeling resentful. The "Victim" Role: If you were often made to feel powerless or helpless, you might attract partners who are controlling. This can reinforce your belief that you're not capable of taking care of yourself. Recognizing these patterns can be hard and it requires a lot of self reflection. But, it's the first step towards finding happiness in a healthy relationship. By understanding the root causes of your attraction to certain types of men, you can start to heal your childhood wounds and attract a partner who truly values and respects you. Remember, you're not alone in this. Many of us have been through similar experiences. It's time to rewrite your story and create a happier ending. Nieces, do you recognize any of these patterns? Let's talk about it in the comments below, or on our forum. Love, Aunty Bri
- Manifest Mondays (An introduction)
Greetings lovely nieces! I'm baaaaaccckkk! If you've been wondering where I've been or what happened to all my blogs....it's a long story and one day soon I'll blog about it. But in the meantime it's that time again. Manifest Mondays! What is Manifest Mondays? I'm a huge believer in manifesting my dreams. Here on Ask Aunty Bri, every Monday I blog specifically about manifesting. What it is, how to do it, barriers that can hinder your success when it comes to manifesting and a whole lot more. What does Manifesting Mean? Manifesting has many meanings, but in a metaphysical context it means to "think about a specific goal often and with focus until you achieve it." The key words here are specific goal, often, and with focus. By honing your thoughts and intentions towards a specific goal, and nurturing that goal with unwavering focus (and faith that it's already done) until it materializes into reality. Manifesting is really an act of co-creation with the universe. By setting a clear goal, and focusing on it purposefully you can create the life of your dreams. You can have the career, business, or the relationship you always wanted. The sky is truly the limit. Manifesting does work, but it is not always easy. You have to delve deep into the art of manifesting in order for it to be successful. Aligning yourself with the vibration of abundance and success is key. The act of manifesting transcends mere wishful thinking; it requires a deep understanding of your innermost desires, beliefs, and the subtle nuances of the subconscious mind. By cultivating a positive mindset, practicing gratitude, and maintaining unwavering faith in the manifestation process, you can harness the limitless potential of your consciousness to bring about transformative change in your life. Manifesting Journey Let's take this journey together. I am starting from scratch with my website and I am manifesting growth of my blog (and YouTube channel!) as well building a community of women who support and cheer each other on throughout all of life triumphs and challenges. Every Monday I will post blogs about the art the art of manifesting. I will also answer questions and give real life success stories. Are you up for the challenge? Let me know in the comments or on our forum what you are going to manifest in your life. Happy Manifesting!

- The bare minimumIn Dating & Relationships·April 2, 2024"Men were sending love letters in the middle of wars and you're settling for boys who won't text back, don't have time for your, and think reassuring you is too much work. The bar is hell." I saw a post similar to this on instagram. And I wholeheartedly agree. Some of us, settle for the bare minimum in relationships. The question is why? Is it low self esteem? A lot of people will blame it on low self esteem, but I think it is so much bigger than low self esteem. I think it's combination of low self esteem, "lack mentality", and societal pressure. I think this topic requires a longer blog post. 🤔1517
- Saw this on InstagramIn General Discussion·March 14, 2024This really resonated with me. I'm totally overwhelmed with work, husband, kids, and trying to be a good sister, daughter, aunt, niece, grand daughter it's all too much. Mom guilt is real. Wife guilt is real. I feel like I'm not doing enough. Like I should be doing so much more for my family. But there's only so many hours in a day. I'm just one person. I feel like I'm drowning.217
